Halloween 2011

SO. MUCH. FUN.

We had a blast with the kids this year. They were excited about everything. We went to Mamma Stacy, Matt, Evan and Lauren's house again. Their neighborhood is wall to wall houses, kids, decorations and fun. We had a blast trick or treating and then had a pretty awesome dance party.

The theme was born from a couple of ideas but ultimately became really fun. We were the "Saturday Morning Cartoons of the 80s"

Sean = He-Man
Me = She-ra
Dec = (old school) Optimus Prime
Harp = Strawberry Shortcake

Hope you enjoy the pics!

The cute little Minnie Mouse is Lauren! She's a cutie!

Harper (Strawberry Shortcake), Dec (Optimus), Evan (Batman), William (Thomas, the Train)

William rocked the Thomas outfit but not as much as Trick or Treating. He was leading the pack house to house!

HOLY BATMAN! Evan!

Harp. Yes, I dyed her hair. I couldn't make myself buy a red wig. So...we used Kool Aid and it worked pretty well. Two days later and I'm hoping it comes out SOON :)

BFF! Evan and Dec. This was their FIFTH Halloween together. So, so sad they'll be moving to the Panhandle. We love them so much.

So...I love the pics we got on Halloween but they weren't quite everything I wanted. The kids didn't argue when I asked them to put on their outfits again for a little photoshoot. Bribery = candy! :)

  1. Carmen, you're truly an artist! Your pictures touch me. I can't help but stop and gaze at them. Your children are simply gorgeous. I mean, seriously. I think my favorites are the one of Harper walking down the sidewalk, and the one of Declan standing in the yard at an angle where he looks so tall and mighty. Love the he-man and she-ra costumes! You guys are hot! My brother and I used to play he-man and she-ra all the time! ;-)
